I've been painting sea stars and a small shell with glitter paint today, and scrubbing it off my fingers, and the paintbrushes. That's probably as sparkling as I'm going to get.

Mermaids can be so demanding. First she wanted more embellishments on her quilt, and then she wanted something to put in her upraised hand... Well, when the paint on her shell trumpet dries, I'll glue it to her hand, and that should be the end of it.
