more bad art for your enjoyment!

I dug up some moldy oldies up in Grand Forks that I figured I could darken all your friends pages with. But in my quest for All Things St. Anne's, there were some things that were so bad, I just couldn't do it. Some things are better left never mentioned again. But a couple were memorable just because they're memorable. Like this:

I like it! (9th grade? Awesome.) It also makes me think of what St. Annes would look like if it showed up on the Home Movies cartoon. Which, just for the record, it totally a compliment because I love that show. ;}

Ever try watercolor pencils? I love those! I only use watercolor paints if/when I do a faux stained glass window and it get used straight out of the tube.

I've never tried them. I don't know how they work! This painting was done with the cheapy tray watercolors like Peanut uses cause that's all they had at my junior high.

Michaels sells them (I think they still do).

I've done stuff with them before just as an experiment and they were SO COOL that I just fell in love with them.

You color the area in similar as you'd do with a pencil then apply a wet brush to it to blend it. Works nicely with ink line drawings.

That sounds neat! I've seen them at Dick Blick but of course I never have money to just try new things. Maybe next time I sell a painting... :)

Don't TALK about MOLD!! I pulled the access panel off for the bathroom plumbing because of a musty smell and it's full of black mold!! :-P

I wonder how dangerous it is because after examining it a bit I closed it up again. Well that was a few hours ago and I still have a feeling in the back of my throat like I want to cough. Great. Who'da thought I'd need a respirator to explore in my OWN HOME?!?? Damnation...
