Blake always says she doesn’t use a stylist, and here’s proof. I can’t think of a stylist who would take a cutesy, flirty dress like that and pair it with a leather jacket and black tights. More power to Blake because this is such a bold, new, and flattering look. It’s one-of-a-kind in its styling and the way Blake is wearing it. It’s so refreshing to see.

are you serious?

Yes. Too often stars Blake's age opt for these cutesy dresses that start to look the same. I'm happy Blake changed it up a bit.

Maybe I used some hyperbole in this, but the styling isn't something seen every day, and I am impressed by it. Blake's not always my fave dress. The Vivienne Westwood disaster of this year comes to mind, but she does put together memorable outfits that most of the times, I either love or hate. This one I love.

I actually thought it was a generic, street outfit for a red carpet event, but I guess that's where you're going with it. And for a girl with such a great figure, she's somehow made it less exciting to see her body. I also know she definitely has a stylist and her looks usually look like they use the same styling as the original runway.

Like your other choices though and a lot of these I haven't seen. I guess I should've started there before my befuddled comment haha.

I get that fashion is a completely subjective thing, which is why disagreement doesn't bother me. The only time it does is when it turns to disrespect. On my blog, I was once called a "fucking moron." That bothers me; your comment did not.

She very well could have a stylist, but on the other end of the spectrum, I can't think of a stylist who would let her walk on the red carpet in that horrid Vivienne Westwood get-up, that was ripped exactly off the runway to your point.

Glad you liked my other choices. I realize no one's going to like every single choice I make. Like I said, fashion is subjective, and I get that.

Wonderful choices! I definitely agree with all of the Lea Michele looks you put on here... I'm also not sure about Blake's dress/leather jacket combo, but I did dig her Chanel dress.

Looking back, I'm not sure about that Blake look either.

But I'm glad you like the Lea looks on here. She had some mistakes, but when she got it right, it was usually stunning.

Oh man, I'm so pissed I forgot all about Nicole Richie and Dita Von Teese, I adore Nicole's style and her wedding gown was PERFECTION. I was so tempted to include Christina Ricci... I really love her style, it's very cute and very her.

The Rose McGowan green Issa gown is HEAVEN. Every woman should own a gown like that.

love this!

*i will ignore the Blake Lively outfits, esp the October one. The summer dress is still passable for me, she did look good although the hair was crazy and I did wonder if it looked posh enough for Front Row of Chanel.

Agreed. I cut it out and look at that Marchesa dress often. Not a cookie-cutter Hollywood wedding dress by any means and I absolutely adore it.

What's telling to me is that Rose McGowan wore an Issa gown around the same time that Kate Middleton wore the blue Issa dress, and I don't even think about Kate that much because Rose was so gorgeous. And yes, every woman should own a dress like that.

The October Blake look wasn't my best I'll give you that. I still like the July look because it was summer, but the hair isn't the greatest. I see your point about the setting, but I still love it.
