I'm old school- I don't have texting on my phone, we did activate it on the two kids but even they get very few texts. The first text my oldest girl got was "Puppy Puppy Puppy". She asked the following week in school to get it explained, I guess her girl friend was watching a movie and there was a cute puppy so she thought she would share. The few texts Sarah sends get comments because she uses correct spelling and punctuation.

I have barely embraced having a cell phone after 7 years, so perhaps I'm not the best one to talk about my feeling for texting. My phone is very dumb, and I like it that way. I'd rather the human be the smartest one in the relationship.
