Is it okay for me to feel guilty about seriously considering getting rid of my old X-Files merchandise? I've got loads of books, a few videos, the Barbies... a fair amount of stuff. The best is the newspaper clippings, cards, etc. It was such a big part of my life for such a long time that I feel kind of... I don't know, traitorous? But it's ( Read more... )

Sad day. The ending was... well, it was the ending. It was good and bad. I wish I could say timely, but it should've ended much earlier, and I say that knowing how much at the time I wanted it to go on forever ( ... )

That has to be hard. Being a packrat, I'd say save it and take it with you when you move, rather than selling and buying new. I can't tell you how many craft books I have that I've never even looked at, hoping someday I'll have the time to teach myself!

I did sort of teach myself to knit with the inherited book and various needles, but the whole measuring out and gauge stuff is beyond me. I could manage a scarf, maybe a blanket, something nondescript is all, lol. I don't even remember what some of the other books were for. Freehand needlepoint maybe?
