I love the P&P theme in this... even though I'm fairly certain P&P is haunting me right now.

The opening section was great, as was the very closing. I liked this! And I eagerly await more.

This was brilliant! It's so rare to find a fic that features the good dynamics of the Lily-James-Sirius relationship. I find it quite difficult personally to have Lily and Sirius interact but you've done it really convincingly as well so awesome work. :]

Wizarding politics is really fansinating and James' parents have often been brushed over with the whole 'muggle loving' thing but I like how you've used James' social status as a way of creating a plot here. I think that Dorea Potter was a Black rather than a Peverell though? Might have to re-look that one up.. haha!

Anyway, good job. Can't wait for part 2! :]

I love the dynamic that I'm sure was Lily and Sirius's friendship and it's one of my favorites to write.

Dorea is definitely a Black, but either Dorea or Charlus is a descendant of the Peverell's. I'm pretty sure... but I haven't brushed up on my HP canon in quite some time. And there's no reason to believe there wouldn't be a great issue with Lily and James being together at that time. I image it would stir a quite the scandal! =)

I quite like this, as well! There's a sort of refined technicality to your writing style that I'm rather digging. You don't see much of that in L/J fics for some reason. But you've gotten it down and I like the way it works with the characters.

Looking forward to the next part! Nice work.
