So this past weekend was OklaCon.

Which in essence can be boiled down to the following.

10 hours of driving to get there.
Hanging out with my good friend and amazing artist Myenia
Getting a chance to hold a skunk, pet a ring tailed lemur (and be used as a launching point for said lemur to go from a human shorter than me to a human taller than me), and ( Read more... )

oklacon, wolf and fennec, post con report, art, snow, animation

Since wolfy was a snow dog by nature, we never had to do anything special to prevent snow building up in his fur. It would really only happen if he was out in the snow all day long.

My best suggestion is socks and a sweater if she gets it on her underbelly too, which would be pretty cute if she'd tolerate it! That way you can slip her gear on her before a walk and just not worry about it. If you find she also gets snowballs between her toes (which is where Wolfy would get them) you can get doggy winter boots too. I'd recommend looking at McGuckin's hardware in Boulder for some of said dog gear! Also because if you haven't been in there yet you should. Especially around the holidays, it's SUCH a cool store!

Yeah, and if I had gotten the short haired dog I signed up for... But I digress.

>< I will have to research doggie sweaters I suppose, and would love to take the pup on a trip to Boulder to research do gear, (and you are welcome to come) but if it gets much colder if I'm gonna visit you and dog is there she will have to come inside, I don't want to freeze my pup.
