And I love Joan being so assertive.

Owen had already been discharged by late November 1917, but I have written Jack eavesdropping on Robert Graves collecting Sassoon, after he's been discharged.

Yes, Joan's still a strong woman.

I've got this Sassoon book, published in 1936, where he says throughout it that Dr Rivers was a very good man.

Just caught up on all of this. Really, really love this, for so many reasons, not least b/c I love studying WW I.

It's so sad to see Jack like this, but also so very realistic. I really like how realistic this series has been as to the horror and enjoy the glimpses we see of the day-to-day life of TW-3 under Joan and the other girls v. the horror of battle.
