(I might need to add a hive-mind disclaimer, when I re-post one of the chapters. Another flashback, previously in Rose's POV as a side story to The Torchwood Girls and now incorporated into the main story, in Jack's POV, has a rather similar opening to that vines bit in your "Relict".)

I'm not denying there is a hive-mind - I know I've seen traces of things I've thought about or written about (not to mention those big fandom tropes like Nine/Rose sleeping together without sex) all around. And vines are...well, I knew they were a generic issue, I just wanted something that would create a minor inconvenience so I could keep the plot going! (I'm not very good at action, I'm more interested in the fallout!

I haven't read anything from The Torchwood Girls, but I had to read this - I'm watching DW with my nephew and we just watched The Doctor Dances tonight. :D

I love Jack dancing with both Rose and the Doctor. :D
