If I were you, I'd be checking to make sure it's actually yours before you spend it. Call me paranoid, but that way you won't get into trouble later..

i don't plan on spending it any time soon anyway.
But even so, the most they can get in repayments is $10 a week.

Hmm, how odd... If you put a tax return in for 2006/07 you get the money.
I got it because I'm on Austudy, Ben gets his on the 6th April because he put the tax return in.
What sort of payment do you get while studying? (if you don't mind me asking)

That's just it - I didn't get the Pensioner Education Supplement, so it's just my Disability Allowance.

Special Benefit (who were under age pension age on 14 October 2008), that's what I'm guessing you come under as you're under the pension age (according to their site you must be 60+ years old).
