Hey, Windows knowing where it's partitions are got fixed yesterday, due to me doing one little change to the registry (I figure after I did that and rebooted, Windows was forced to rescan the drive), but I also found a neat little free utility called TESTDISK. It can find lost partitions for (and run under)...

It can do HFS and HFS+ partitions? COOL! Thank you...i've been looking for a good, free HFS/HFS+ solution for Windows for aaaages. (if you're wondering, HFS and HFS+ are used by Apple Macs, and Windows's lack of HFS/HFS+ support is a pain in the rump when you're dealing with Macs, even though Macs can happily deal with NTFS, FAT32 and FAT16 volumes)
