I watched the film twice in the cinema as a double feature with ROCKY HORROR. A great combo.

When Carrie visits her mom and Victoria in the hospital, look carefully at Carrie. She's wearing a simplified version of Phoenix's outfit from her (real) audition with Swan.

After watching this again earlier this week, I can see how Darth Vader's outfit was inspired by the Phantom.
