LOL. Andrew says "Darn those socks" all the time. He's such a goofballWills!

We've talked about letting Haylie play with the socks as toys to chew on, but we were afraid she'd get it in her head to go find our real socks and eat them too.

I'm pretty sure we started saying that at the same time, though I'm not sure where the saying originated. I'm sure it had something to do with Mom not liking the word "Darn." "That is too close to a swear word, don't say that!" She also hates the word "crap" as you probably already know. She doesn't care NEARLY as much as she used to and wouldn't hold it against you if you said it, I don't think. :o) However "sucks" is different. Even I am not a fan of that word. I have no idea why. It just sounds really gross and terrible to me. Eww.
End rant. Haha.

Yeah, that wouldn't be such a good idea...she probably would do that! Dogs are so smart!

let me just say.. that I am kind of grossed out by the prospect of using socks.. because they touch feet.. and you know how I feel about that.. lol but it is cool that you are trying to think of ways to not waste them. I usually just throw those away.

That's a great idea babe, I am so sick of lazy people throwing garbage away. I deal with it at the camp all the time, 1 2 or even 3 loads full with the work horse and that is some times 4 times a day, just because people are too lazy to try to find a way to reuse what they think is trash. I have pulled 100s of pop cans out of the camps trash barrels when the cans for camp is two steps away. One time I even found a dollar bill in the trash. I am so sick of lazy people.
