Omgoodness I love the original Holmes! And I am pretty sure the movie is going to be a terrible vision of them, but I still want to see it, lol, just because it looks like a fun ride and has really good-looking men. XD

I was betaing a K/S Holmesian AU for awhile...it's on hiatus, but it's really good. If I knew anything about SPN I know I would be super super excited for your AU. You have no idea. :D

HOLMESIAN J2 AU!!! OHOHO OH ANDY, I LIKE HOW THIS IS SOUNDING :Db And I also seriously wanna see the goddamn movie, but no idea when it's coming to Vienna. I only know that Carmen and I are going to see Gamer (with Gerrie Butler and MICHAEL C HALL AS THE BADDIE, FUCK YEAH), and that like came out LAST MAY in Bangkok. Dubbing things in German can't possibly take that fucking long lol.

And speaking of Holmes, there was this pretty wonderful Holmes and HP crossover that was written for one of the fic fests this year. And I say this without having the link handy, but I was reminded of its awesome existence just now, so yeah.

I am pretty confident in the leet pirating skillz of the Thai DVD shop owners when I'm in Thailand in mid Feb though, so there is always that when worst comes to worst. I do remember seeing some Sherlock Holmes mag covers here, so maybe the wait can't be that long?? I mean, even the people here should recognize the awesomesauce of RDJ and Jude Law.

WELL IT WAS LATE AND I WAS TIRED. I barely made it in bed before 2.45AM. I am still counting it as a victory, and am somehow hallucinating that my eyerings are slightly lessened already /crazy

AND I WILL GO LOOK FOR THE LINK NOW, UNO MOMENTO------okay wow this is taking a while buuuuuuuuuuut TADAAA! ...and hmmm now I realize that it is probably a Snarry, but uh it didn't stand out that much in the greater scheme of the fic, so if you are not a fan (I CANNAE REMEMBER), I can still rec reading the story for its delightful awesomeness.

I'm a fan of the original stories! And I saw the new film over the holidays and ADORED it. It probably helped that I went into it knowing full well it was gonna be nothing like Doyle and just enjoyed the heck out of it anyway. So, um, I'm not sure how helpful that is for you. But it is, as I'm sure you've heard everywhere, ridiculously slashy and fun. (And the set designs are spectacular.)

Also, can I say HOLMESIAN J2 AU! Eeeee!

I'm just terribly worried I won't be able to separate it from the Doyle world in my head! D: I'm the person who sits in Pirates of the Caribbean and grumps because the use of the word "okay" is historically inaccurate. *hangs head in shame* And I definitely don't want to come out of it hating it. *frets* You put one tick in the pro side, though, especially with mention of awesome set designs. Hmm. Maybe I'll watch 5 minutes of a download or something as a test . . .

And yessss, I hope it works out like it is in my head! *crosses fingers*
