I had tears stinging my eyes as I read this chapter. Such a beautiful close to this fic.

I loved that little appearance of Dean in the rear view mirror, the way he seems to be starting Sam toward the process of moving on. I'm sure he was smiling because he knows that Sam and John are going to be alright after all.

Thank you so much! I was hoping to end on a hopeful note, but I didn't want to fix everything between them either. I think there's just too much between them to fix all at once. (And they're too stubborn, lol. ) I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!

And I'm also glad that you liked the Dean moment. I felt like Sam needed some sign from Dean that it was okay to move on, and I also couldn't helping thinking that Dean wouldn't want to go without making sure that Sam and their dad would be alright.
