So, somehow I missed the previous one which makes me really glad for the second one. Otherwise I would never have gotten to read both of them. This is really great and well written. You've done a great job of setting the scene and telling the story while using an unreliable narrator.
*shifty eyed* I'm also now working my way through your other Natasha/Clint fanfiction.
As I said in my author's note, the first scene with Barney betraying Clint was just so vivid in my mind that I couldn't resist trying to write it...and I was having so much fun playing with the idea, that when I was asked to continue, the rest of the story just sort of insisted on being written too, lol. I'm so glad that you're enjoying it so far!
If you do have the chance to read my other Natasha/Clint fics, I hope you enjoy them as well! :)

Again, I'm loving how descriptive you are -- the sights, sounds, and colors of the carnival, Anna's appearance, the drive to the airfield.
Two things that really caught my attention were the hints of Natasha having a bit of rebellion in her and your description of Clint's eyes.

Both of the things you took note of will play a part in the future of the fic. :)
