Oooh, Rodney whump! :D Loved how Sheppard dealt with him and made him sit up in spite of his protests! He knows his whiny scientist well! ;)
Now we know where Rodney's mind was going in the intro bit in chapter one... but was it voluntarily or was he forced? How does Sheppard being poisoned tie in with this? Droids and an Ancient - the plot gets more complex.
I just have one nitpick though: The name of the Ancient who invented the Time Jumper and was forbidden to continue his experiments was named Janus, not Janis. ( Named for the Roman god of doors, beginnings and endings. )
As for the other questions... *grins again* You'll find out more in the next couple chapters, lol.
Thank you for catching the misspelled name! I actually had it spelled that way originally, but Gateworld spells it as "Janis" on the transcript of "Before I Sleep," so I changed it. *grumbles at Gateworld, lol*
