Aww! Poor Bones! Please fix all the horrible woobies? I hate-love-hate seeing Bones all distressed. Like you said there, of all the things he could remember, he remembers that... how horrible and heart breaking and get Jim to make it better, please?

Lovely chapter.

Also, I adored Jim's thoughts in this, and he's right about the mind-meld business. Bones wouldn't let Spock near him - in fact I think he'd fight him off. Very realistic reactions from Jim.

Poor Bones...

To be honest, I hate-love-hate writing him like that, too. But I'm good at fixing woobies, I promise. And Jim is going to do his best to help, starting right next chapter.

Oh great, one tragic memory after another. I'm on the fence with the mind meld idea, but surely Bones' memory has to return on its own soon.

Yeah, it definitely is a very powerful memory for Bones, and in that particular situation it wasn't even too far fetched that this was going to be one he'd remember.
