Well...I guess I'm well overdue for a good update. I just can't ever get in the mood. I don't know what's up with that. Anyway, I don't know how to do one of those cutaway things so I'm going to apologize now for clogging up your friends page.
Anyway, for those of you who didn't know. I did get married in September. We just celebrated out 6 month-a

Thanks for writing about your honeymoon. We thought about going to the Winchester House, but didn't. It sounded kind of cheesy and tourist trap-like, which I guess it is, but it sounds like it still might be interesting.
Your b&b in Monterrey made me think of this place we stayed in Newport, OR called the Sylvia Hotel. It was this awesome old place right on this historical beach. And they had a wonderfully fancy dinner where they encourage great conversation with a game, and a fabulous free breakfast, and every room is named after an author and themed after that author.
Oh and for the lj cut thing...just put {lj-cut text="blah blah blah"} before whatever you want to cut and put {/lj-cut} after what you want cut and replace the { } with < >.

Sorry...I can't help you with the mirrors...I didn't use them. Anything else though...ask me..maybe I can help you out. When are you getting married? I've read you mention things here and there but never really heard any details. And..congratulations. I remember hearing about you and Amy meeting and I'm just SO happy for you to be getting married. :)
I love bed and breakfasts. I love how cozy and homy they feel. The only part I don't like about being on vacation is staying in a hotel all the time...but at a B&B it just has a different feel. The interaction with other guests adds to it as well. The B&B keeps a journal so guests can write in them...and they've kept them since they opened. There are people that come there year after year because they love this place so much. It's really cool.

The place in Newport was like that too. You'd watch people checkout and they'd be reserving their favorite room, or a room they hadn't tried yet, for the next year. It's pretty crazy.

Do you have any dimensions and/or size info for the wedding dress? (How tall are you, anyway? I should know that.) What type of price are you thinking about? I know one person who's getting married, and I think you're built about the same.
