I bought some new bras today at Journelle. (They’re having a buy one, get one half-off sale!) One of them is a C-cup. So depending on the brand and/or style, I go up two cup sizes? WTF, lingerie makers?

I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a standard size when it comes to bras.
Which sucks, because I'm one of these people who hate trying on clothes, and while with other clothing I can usually have a rough idea what size I am, with bras it's a case of bring a basket full of stuff into the changing rooms and trying to find the one item that will actually fit.

Yeah, it seems to be bras and shoes where a) the fit is so important to physical health and well-being; b) nothing is the size it's supposed to be.
