Awesome and yikes! I can totally see Dean bantering with people as he tortures them :) My first guess was that it was John (I forgot he went to Heaven at the end of s2). I didn't see Sam coming at all.

As for the ending, I was REALLY careful not to give that away! That's why I didn't post it on 'ohsam' and also why I didn't tag Sam as a character.. Didn't want to spoil the fun :)

But yeah now that you mention John, that could've been an idea as well (even though he got out of hell.. in fanfiction, anything is possible right?? Lilith could have brought him back to the pit to piss Dean off :P)
