PIC, PIC, PIC!!! (Saiyuki fanart)
As I said, I'm never as productive with my hobbies as when I have tons of things to do. And right now I have tons of things to do. So this weekend, instead of working in one of the multiple assignments I have to turn in this month, I've drawn some Saiyuki fanart. It's based on the 4th prompt of the Saiyuki_time community (an incredible source of inspiration on all accounts). The challenge was "Opposites" and I started to think of how Hakkai is mainly intellectual and Gojyo is sensual. Knowing each other as they do, I thought that their mutual attempts at seduction would imply going out of their usual line of thinking and trying to adopt the other one's. And so, I started to think how Gojyo would rehearse his speech to get Hakkai into bed and how Hakkai would rehearse his actions to achieve that same goal. This is what I came up with.
Como ya he mencionado en anteriores episodios, cuanto más estresada estoy, más pijadas hago. Y ahora estoy estresada de cojones. Así que este fin de semana, en vez de trabajar en los cientos de trabajos que tengo que entregar este mes, me he puesto a dibujar un fanart de Saiyuki. Bueno, dos. Está basado en la comunidad de Saiyuki_time (fuente de inspiración inagotable en todos los sentidos. El desafío es el de "Opuestos", que me dio que pensar sobre la manera en que Hakkai es eminentemente intelectual y Gojyo sensual. Conociéndose como se conocen, pensé que sus intentos mutuos de llevarse el otro al huerto incluirían un cambio de estrategia de manera que cada uno intentara abordar el asunto desde la perspectiva del otro. Así, imaginé a Gojyo ensayando un discurso sobre por qué Hakkai tendría que acostarse con él, y por otra parte visualicé a Hakkai ensayando como lanzarse para llegar a la misma conclusión. Y esto es lo que salió.
