FIC, FIC, FIC!!! (Inception)

Well, it was sort of unavoidable, really. I've still got to get the grasp of these two. I'm too much of a sap to write BAMFs in a realistic manner. If any of you have a negative opinion about this, I wouldn't mind hearing it.

Thank you!!

I assume you mean the characteristics I decided to talk about? Or rather the general characterization, how I envisioned the characters and made them talk? If you don't mind me asking, I'd love to hear a bit more about that? (Only if you have the time and the will and are comfortable telling me, of course)

In any case, thanks again!

(Oh, do not worry, I'm no native myself!)

wow, yeah. I like how the characters "sound". Since we only have the one movie as canon and it doesn't tell us much about their backstories, particularly Arthurs and Eames'. We only know that they know each other from sometime before the movie and that they are likely to don't get along. But we don't know why.
And the way you wrote about them, I can imagine it and it fits with the movie (at least, as far as I'm concerned).

So, both I guess. I think they are in character with the canon but I also love the way how Arthur discovers Eames.

And I'm not sure I'm making sense.

Okay, now I feel stupid because obviously I can't read, so I had misinterpreted your first comment and thought that you DIDN'T like it, so I was curious and wanted to understand why. Shit, I wasn't trying to fish for compliments, quite the contrary, I just wanted to know why it hadn't worked for you, but now I see that I just misunderstood completely, so I apologize!

Thanks for the explanation!

This was a humorous and (actually) fascinating character study that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

Also, I loved that last scene.

Ha, ha, in fact, Arthur's conclusion derives from my own! The first time I saw the movie it was like "oh, that character is interesting!" and that was that. Then I got into fanfiction. Then I saw the movie again and thought "oh, he's more than interesting, he's fascinating! Pity he's not my type at all". Then I saw it again, but only the scenes with Eames and thought "goddammit, that's a really good actor. I think I like Eames so much because I totally believe his character thanks to that actor's talent!" and as I have a bit of competency kink, the next time it was all "holy shit, he's actually kind of hot ( ... )

cryyyyyyy, this was beautiful and observant and believable and perfectly within my head-canon and checked off about 18 boxes on my Eames!kink list, and it made me ridiculously happy. YAY, THANK YOU! <3

Oh, thank you so much!!

Actually, I think that the motivation for writing this was how utterly fascinating I find Eames as a character. Not that the rest of Inception's characters aren't well built, they are (it's an awesome movie in that sense), but Eames... there's something about him that just demanded that I wrote about it.

I'm so happy it fit your own view of him...!

Thanks to you for taking the time to read and comment! <3
