Yes. [He gives a hesitant laugh as he takes a turn onto Lander Boulevard.] A lot of people here seem to be amazed by the fact I can use magic. It's a bit embarrassing... I can't use it because of the chip they put us. I wish I could, it's make venturing a little safer.

It's alright. I just never know what to say since it's normal for me. I'd show you if I could... Oh. The "Chips." The scientists who brought us here placed a tiny device inside of us all that prevents us from using magic or "powers." It weakens us. Maybe you haven't noticed yet-OH Wait you're a robot. [She stops next to him and flushes, waving her hands dismissively.] Oh, no, I don't want to be a bother or anything! Please don't go out of your way. I'm sure I'll find somewhere to stay...Ah, a school? Are there very many people there? That seems a little crowded...

[Cube flushes a little too]
Uh, well I don't mind. Honestly. I just cleaned it and it's just myself. I have no roommates. It also has electricity and water... I'm not sure if the school does. I think it does. However, I'm not sure where "new" people go. I was helped and left in the care of the hospital... but that's far away... I honestly don't mind your company at all but it's up to you.

[Alpha laughs and fidgets.] Ah, sorry, I hope it's not too much trouble...but, I mean, it's true that I don't have anywhere to go, so if it's alright...can I please stay with you?

[Cube motions Alpha into the Latimir apartment building and up a flight of stairs. Right at the top of the stairs is a door, Latimir 201. Cube opens the door and steps aside, bowing at her]
Here we are. Make yourself comfortable, Even though there isn't much here.
[The room is a bit empty except for a patched love seat and a small coffee table. To the far side of the room is a window.]

Oh! Yes. There's a bed in the bedroom... [He leads the way to a door, opening it to show a bedroom with a bed and a stand as well as a Desk, currently propped up on one side by some bricks]
You can use it, Miss Alpha. The love seat is big enough for me. Besides, I just patched it up. I should see how comfortable it is.
The other door is a bathroom and of course, the kitchen is over there. [He points] However, I haven't tried to turn the stove on and there is no refrigerator. All in all, please, make yourself at home!

[Alpha steps into the room and walks over to the desk. She takes off the pouch holding her camera and sets it carefully on the desk. With a sigh, she puts her hands on her hips and gives the bedroom a once over.] So this is home for now...
[Turning back to Cube, she smiles and bows.] Cube...thank you again. This whole thing is really weird, but, I'm really glad I met you.
