I haven’t written much since I said goodbye to Dee a couple months ago. I still miss her very much. Intellectually I know she’s not here, but when I first wake up, I think I need to go outside or is the water bowl empty? Hey Martha, glad I saw your post. Did Dee retire? How long did she work for you? Eden has been retired for the last 2 years....I worked her on and off but the situation just didn't work out or rather my situation and I had to retire her. She's still with me though but I'm back home with my mom and she has to live outside. Anyway, regarding your money situation.....I can sooo relate. really, I can. Have you thought about taking surveys for a little extra cash? Let me know and I'll give you some sites to try. I hope you get accepted soon at a guide dog school. Blessings! Momof3bbp, Danie

Dee technically worked for 2 years and 2 months, although she was 90 percent retired since May last year. I took her on trips where we went from car to inside and back or ones where we only had to walk a couple blocks. If it was any more than that, I took the cane. That is sad about Eden having to retire. Do you think you will get another dog again, or are you liking the cane better?
