Ok, so I know I told ya'll I was going to start writing again, but unfortunately since the Easter Bunny Shovel Assault, I've been spending a great deal of time trying not to be bitten by something that looked a lot like this:

Wait, wait. *waves hands* First we're being tortured with a distinct lack of anything resembling Spring and now we get to add the potential threat of rattlers?

If I didn't love this state so much...

I KNOW. What is the point of putting up with this climate if it doesn't keep poisonous snakes away!?!

(but yeah, they'll drag me out of here kicking and screaming. husband keeps suggesting we move to IA to be closer to family. *shudders*)
