A pause from work last week for an afternoon garden party, the tickets a perk passed on to me by a relative. I saw Ron Sexsmith once, five years ago, when he appeared onstage for the encore at a a Bruce Cockburn tribute concert. If he were to visit Sault Ste. Marie one of these days, I'd like to see him perform live. Most of his work that I know does have a reflective, somewhat melancholy feel to it. And you're right: he's one of those lesser-known songwriters that better known songwriters admire.
