Ooh. This is exactly the sort of cool typographical graphic thingy I could never do, which makes me so unsuitable for graphic design

Woo, super neat typographical graphic design. :) As long as you have a good fantasy/imagination and a will to experiment you can do it too! (which you seem to have, btw~)

Thanks. I'm just kinda bewildered by the fact that although I've never studied graphic design, I have no aptitude for it, and I have little to no interest in doing it, the only job I've been able to land since graduating has been in graphic design... It's a bit frustrating, but I'm no where near giving up on 3D. :)

I will post photos when I get around to baking them!
