I took all next week, and the following three days the week after off work. From Thursday I have Southside Festival but before that, I simply wanted time off work, really. I have two and a half weeks holiday from now until the end of July so I might as well start using them. So, I still have about five days left to take, which is nice. From Monday ( Read more... )

I can't believe I actually remember enough German to understand what you wrote here @_@
..I haven't studied German since I left high school like 8 years ago... :o

Anyway, what other language would you like to learn? Japfag? Something else? In which foreign country would you like to live if you ever work abroad again? :)

Es ist aber ziemlich einfach Deutsch ;)

I've given this some thought, and it's not so much wanting to learn a language specifically but generally living in another country which speaks any other language I don't know. But as for where/what language, I don't know yet - I've decided to give myself time over my upcoming final year of uni to decide on that. I know my opinion might change or strengthen given further thought, so we'll see!

There's so many places I want to go to, though. I've been to loads of countries but never further east than Turkey. Australia, Hong Kong, China, India, Japan, New Zealand... I know you totally love HK and a friend of mine is spending time there now who also fell in love instantly and keeps telling me to go there :P so that's becoming a consideration, at least for a place to visit. I'd certainly want to work abroad again, considering how much this year has opened my mind then even more can only be good!

Not fun, they actually speak English in most of these countries ;)

I know what you mean though, I also think it would be nice to work in Australia or New Zealand at some point... Will probably never do it though, because it's a bit too far from my parents, who are getting old and stuff :/

But yeah, I think you should definitely spend another year abroad at some point anyway :)

You're taking off next week and 3 days of the week after? Thats exactly the amount of time I'm taking off for my holidays. How about it eh!! ;-)

Crazy!!!!!

The 3 days after was pretty arbitrary though, I could have taken off more if I wanted to. Oh well, any days I don't take off end up with more money at the end of it so whatever!

Oh well, out to buy MGS4 now :D

Between this and the comment on my other entry about what you're doing in your job it sounds like it's exactly the same as mine!

and Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't have it yet but some delinquent on YouTube decided to post a spoiler in some completely unrelated video; it was actually pretty lame so let's hope it wasn't true.

I'm almost certainly going to have large portions of the game spoiled by my dickhead customers :(

Yeah, that sucks. Sometimes I can only wonder what leads some people to just needlessly be absolute cocks to others. I guess it's in some psychology textbook somewhere.

98% of those same people become serial killers. True fact.
