Well, Middlesex, which you lent me, was really good. The Joust series by Mercedes Lackey (Alta, Sactuary, and Aerie are books 2-4) was very enjoyable. You might like The Deep End of the Ocean - after reading that, I need to see the movie again to really compare the two!

The Bonesetter's Daughter was very good, and the two books by John Taylor Gatto were excellent.

I'm in the middle of Middlesex right now- it's great.

I'm going to have to check out "The Deep End of the Ocean", I read about it on widpedia and it sounds great! Same thing with "The Bonesetter's Daughter", I've read a few of Amy Tan's books and I like her a lot.
