Also, aside from throwing Eddie B in as a goon, I can make some archetypal NPCs to act as plot devices if necessary. Like some femme fatale or "girl who's caught up with the wrong man" tropes. I'd like to avoid taking on a crime lord role, because I'm hoping other folks are interested in trying their hand at a more prominent NPC role (I don't want to hog everything, basically, since my own character's kicking off this port). But if you want to try a prominent NPC, please make sure you actually have the time/desire to commit to the role and post/tag with them.

SO. IDK. Brainstorm OC NPCs here if you're interested in doing some too. And post here with what kinds you'd like to see/need to get your characters' storylines going for port.

I kind of want to bring back takencareofyou as an enforcer so that we can do mistaken identity in port and someone can try and take out Hoffman and maybe george could save him/do something cool

To facilitate that, I had a vague idea involving an attractive wench and a generic king-pin type figure played by Robert DeNiro because the barge does not have enough DeNiro and Costas is constantly "I like playing mobsters rather then cops"

So it stands to reason that takencareofyou would be a mobster. I just-really want Hoffman to get mistaken for a hard-core criminal (and then at some point I'll bring Vegas back.

Okay-the basic premise would be that upon arriving in port Hoffman is accosted by a group of thugs. Maybe a couple of people help fight them off and grab "one" of the thugs who turns out to be the crime-boss's daughter Esperanza who explains that he took out a hit on "the guy" who's a major enforcer with the opposing crime syndicate.

So the objective would be to find "The enforcer" who turns out to be former barge!inmate Vegas (who might then come back at some point. he will, I swear.)

I dunno, the idea would be constantly running from "thugs", possible sojurns to the jungle-being chased to an AR Rahman/Vantage point style soundtrack as they hunt for The Maltese Chipmunk-an intregal part to the barge.

I don't have any previous characters, but I wouldn't mind taking on an OC NPC if someone needs one. I'll be off hiatus tomorrow night and almost back to my normal crazy levels of posting!

I could use an NPC for Perry/Arthur/Ariadne's casino misadventures, where they'll need to infiltrate the high rollers' lounge and get a face-to-face with the big casino... boss dude (who's probably a criminal, because they always are) and steal the rubber chicken mounted on his wall. For the Admiral.

OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Basically, they need a scary dude with lots of money/influence to run afoul of, if you'd like to take on that kind of role.

I'm way late to this party, but in the interests of tormenting Gaius hilarity okay, no, let's be honest here tormenting Gaius, and hilarity, I'm going to bring in a Six facetwin, which I'm totally just going to use the-hard-six to play.
