Lab

He has his own little nest in the lab, complete with his notes and his water bottle. Occasionally, you will hear him talking to himself, but he’s sometimes answered by a very monotonic sounding female. Sometimes not.

CES

A forest. Or perhaps a river. Either way, he’s only ever there at night (usually at the most ungodly hours), sitting in a clearing with his notebooks and writing about what he sees in the sky.

Deck

He’s mostly normal on the deck. Sometimes he has a beer with him, sometimes he’s just wandering through the snow, making small equations on the deck with his shoes before scrubbing them out. He’s a weird kid.

[And Barron's also walking onto deck, holding a bottle of something alcoholic. When he sees Capa he shoves it into his jacket. Probably best if warden's don't see things that Barron isn't supposed to have.]

What are you doing out here? [Barron says, walking up to Capa. He'd expected to have the whole deck to himself.]

[He wouldn't notice. He's half drunk already. Way to pass the time, Capa.]

Walking. [He quickly covered up the numbers in the snow, but stumbled in the process.]

[Barron notices the stumble, but doesn't comment.]

Up here? [Barron glances around.] You think it would be nicer in the CES.

Common Room (any)

What this? Is Capa decorating? Attempting to decorate, perhaps. He’s setting up stockings with little wrapped candy canes. There’s also a one in his mouth.

Dean is taking it pretty easy for a while after his eventful first day, as much from necessity as preference; this means, for the young hunter, plenty of wandering and a lot of poking into things. One of those things, unfortunately, ended up being one of the boxes under the tree in the dining hall; so now he's walking around with an armful of bright red, silver, and green tinsel, looking for a room to add it to almost idly. He's not thinking about it.

He does like the sound of candy canes, though, and pauses when he sees the other man decorating. "I thought chimneys on ships were a bad plan," he says by way of greeting.

Capa turned around at the sound of the voice and tilted his head to the side. New arrival, he thought to himself, or at Capa was starting to pay less attention to the people on this ship than he normally did. It took him a moment to process what he was talking about, though, as the decorating was largely an unconscious thing.

"This isn't a normal ship," he replied with a shrug.

Common Room

Dean has stood still in one place for too long; he shifts the tinsel in his arms, and a moment later spies a likely looking nail in the wall on which to start this decorating shindig. He crosses the room while he replies.

"Yeah, I'm getting that. I'm Dean - mind if I throw up some sparkle around here?" The hunter blinks - did he really just offer to put up some sparkle? What the hell?
