[Thom's having a little powermad moment now that he's got his pendant, walking slowly through a mass of faceless things just for the hell of it, arms spread out. He's softly glowing a rusty red and there's something slightly off about his smile.]

[Now he's working his way on up, warping and blocking doors by shoving as much raw power into them as he's got because he might as well go the whole hog with the team he chose. The control he has isn't great, thanks to his still-corrupted and limited Gift, so the effects are varied. Right now? One of the doors and its door frame are crumbling into splinters, wreathed in reddish-purple fire.]

[He's about to go up the stairs, setting them on fire behind him as he goes when--what's that? Is someone coming down them? He pauses, waiting, hands filled with the light of his magic. He can't hold onto it like this for too long.]

[It's Jim! He's actually been working his way down the stairs, tearing up the boards of each one with a crowbar he dug out of Edward's room. The red pendant is resting against his collarbone, and when he first sees Thom, he hefts his crowbar, readying himself to fight if needed...

But... seeing the fire behind him, he's beginning to doubt that it will be.]

You accepted his deal?

[Thom lets the magic go, calling it back into his skin with a little effort. That done, he indicates the pendant around his neck, and smirks.]

Of course. [He's not an idiot, Jim.] I see you were smart enough to do so as well.

[Jim shrugs, holding the crowbar loosely at his side.]

There are things I require, which the Admiral could never have given me.

[He glances down at the burning stairs, a ghost of a smile crossing his face.] It looks like your technique is a little more thorough than mine though.

[Thom's paused in the hallway staring into a sheet of wildly-rippling reddish fire. He's trying to scry. It's not coming easily and he's only getting the briefest glimpses of what's happening around the Barge. He looks frustrated and as if he's expending a lot of energy to keep the fire even as unstable as it is. To anyone who looks at it there'll only be strange flashes of twisted faces and other unrecognisable things.]

What are you doing? [Arya has been wandering the Barge since the shit hit the fan, and by now she has a lot of scratches and scrapes, but otherwise none the worse for ware. Jon's dagger is in her hand, though, and it's bloody. She doesn't think these are real Faceless Men at all.]

Are you a red priest?

[Thom looks quickly at her, a little startled. He hadn't seen her approach. Unfortunately, taking his attention off the magic means he loses control and it flares out with a last quick flickering image of the stars.]

I was trying to scry. [He looks her up and down, noting the dagger and the apparent lack of one of Flagg's pendant.] A red priest?

[Arya watches the flare out with interest, but once the fire's gone, her eyes are back on Thom. She frowned a little, studying him in return.]

You are, aren't you? Did you see the future? [The red priests she'd known read the future in their night fires, and Thoros had raised Lord Beric Dondarion half a dozen times. She still remembered how Thom said he'd brought someone back.]

[Thom doesn't look so good. His face is sweaty and pale and he looks sick. There's a weird light in his eyes and he has a quirk of a smile that looks unconscious. He's resting for the moment in the common room, with the glow that's been fairly consistent from him so far fading in and out under his skin.]

[The teleportation startled Thom, and he glanced up quickly, not really relaxing when he saw who it was. He had done the research and knew now who Loki was and some of his power. The question was which side the trickster god had chosen in this or if he would attempt to interfere with Thom if he was siding with the wardens.]

Do I? [His voice was tired but the tone was carefully neutral.] I can see you're one for flattery, Loki.
