What: Wanda is diligently searching for this "Duke" sonofabitch so she can kick his butt with magic and put Rex at ease. Unfortunately Fozzie has other ideas and wants to smell ALL THE THINGS AND PEOPLE YAY.
When: Sunday
Where: Wide open. Tag with time and place. Threadjacking and multiples are OK.

There wasn't any scent of Other Doggie on Naoto, but the sight of a dog that could grow as big as she was all over the deck brought back a good part of her childhood. She caught Wanda's eye from a few feet away and looked at her in sympathy: I know what it's like. You'll gain the knack with him.

"Be a good boy," she added to the dog.

Fozzie bounced and pawed at the air. Wanda walked over with him. "Heel." He actually managed it before she let him out to fingersniffing range.

"Hi. You're new, right?" she was a little subdued, but managed a little smile. "I'm Wanda. This is Fozzie."

"Naoto. I'm... new enough to not know everyone, I suppose." She offered Fozzie her fingers to try her out before she started to touch him. "Though he's probably newer."

Fozzie started licking her fingers like there was honey on them. Wanda managed a bit more of a smile. "Yeah. I've been here since um...May? June? I can't remember. It's all kind of blurred together right now.

"Fozzie's brand new. He's the Admiral's idea of what I need as a guard dog."

Unfortunately, animals, especially ones with good senses of smell, can usually pick the undead out from a mile off. Natural things don't like abominations to nature, go figure. Generally this wasn't a problem except in port or the CES, where Arthas was flat-out used to having everything with legs being long gone before he even got close to them. Sort of like the opposite of being a Disney princess.

This also meant though, that anyone getting a new pet would have a curveball thrown at them any time Arthas was in the same hallway.

Wanda noticed him down the hall and raised a hand to wave. She started in his direction--and about halfway there felt a strong yank on the leash. Fozzie had just plain stopped in the middle of the hallway, ears drooping and eyes a bit wide.

"Uh, hey Arthas...having a bit of a problem here, sorry...."

Arthas stopped at a safe-ish distance, eying the dog.

"It's alright. That's me. Stay there, we'll see what he's comfortable with."

He started backing away.

"How have you been doing?"

The pup hid behind her and then peeked out, ears flopped.

Wanda snorted, lips pulling into a smirk. "This was the best above the table protection the Wardens would offer me. So I'm looking under the table. A lot."
