Who: David and Rachel.
What: Two blondes with bad attitudes in the CES.
When: Today, backdated to the afternoon.
Where: The CES
Warnings: Violence, death threats.
Four day since Costigan vanished, David was no closer to being over his friend's abrupt disappearance than he was when he first heard about it. There was a pivotal difference this time, though - that difference being that for the first time since waking up on this spacegoing loony bin he's got ways and means of distracting himself.
So without the need for social interaction, David's spent the past four days more or less going to ground. His days have been passed largely in his room, playing marathon sessions of Mortal Kombat Trilogy and emerging only for two reasons - food and trips to the CES. With Bourne no longer an issue, there's been no thought of needing to watch his back, so he's gotten relatively predictable. Though the CES, long his sanctuary, has been a place he's been spending less and less time in. The truth is, if it weren't for the thought of running with Tim or Dick, he really wouldn't even be bothering. Without thinking about it, he's been making the CES assume the form of
the woods behind Cassie's house, and today isn't any different.
Dressed in shorts and a baggy t-shirt, David's running at a brisk, even pace, occasionally rolling to the ground and trying to come up in a fight-ready crouch. It's a manuever he's seen Dick and Tim do all the time, but so far he's not having much luck.
