BREAKFAST 7:30 result_of_war September 15 2011, 18:51:43 UTC
Heero is not a big eater, although he does usually show up for all three meals if only for some kind of structure. He's currently sitting by himself with some toast and juice, his laptop open and running some complicated looking code.

ON DECK 10:00 result_of_war September 15 2011, 18:54:21 UTC
Former child soldiers need to keep in shape, so running laps around deck is clearly a good way to spend free time.

LUNCH 12:00 result_of_war September 15 2011, 18:54:58 UTC
More food, still something simple and boring, still with the laptop. He's still off in a corner being antisocial, because he's cool like that. Please bother him.

Armand doesn't sit right exactly beside Heero. He noticed how standoffish the boy was with him, but he's too curious now to stay away. He's seen a few computers--not many--in his time here. Of course, since Heero had so isolated himself, it is likely very obvious that Armand wants his attention. It takes him a while and half his meal before he gets the nerve to speak.

"You seem very fascinated with that. It's a computer, isn't it?"

He glances up at Armand. He's noticed the other man sitting nearby, but hasn't said anything to him, partially because he was engaged with his computer, but also because he wasn't exactly social. Ever. Even with people he was comfortable around.

"Yes."

More of that. Armand would have given up long ago--the boy wasn't his inmate--but he was stubborn, probably obnoxiously so. It was a marked trait for many of his nationality. He sighed, shaking his head.

"Are they a necessary accessory for mealtimes when you're from? It doesn't seem to help with the eating or the conversation."

DOING LAUNDRY 2:00 result_of_war September 15 2011, 19:06:49 UTC
Heero's wardrobe is extremely limited, so shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and tank tops are going in the washing machine.

[Naoto's? Much more varied and a little J-rock, but the pants? She only remembered she'd thrown that pair out last week after she'd been wearing them for an hour. She brought the clearly-not-her-pants back with her own laundry and a note for the real owner, and as she was taking that first load out of a dryer, she saw someone they might have belonged to. This was going to be a little awkward, knowing him.] Excuse me. Could I trouble you for a moment?

[He had noticed Naoto, but didn't say anything until she addressed him, at which point he glanced over, threw the last of his socks in the washing machine and finally straightened, wondering what she wanted.] "Sure."

[She uncrumples the fresh dried pants.] Do you recognize these?

DINNER TIME 6:00 result_of_war September 15 2011, 19:07:39 UTC
Moar food, more sitting by himself looking antisocial. This time though, he's more or less ignoring his food in favor of typing on his computer. He's surprisingly good at doing it one handed.

When Vila sat right beside the teen, he couldn't decide if he wanted more to steal the ignored food or the obviously very cherished computer. Vila hated computers, especially snarky ones, but this one seemed to be blissfully silent. Besides, the care Heero was taking of it made it valuable. And if it was that valuable, Vila was interested.

Vila decided the food was safer, as a test. He didn't have to look at his target as his hand crept closer to snagging half a sandwich from the plate.

Heero noticed the movement immediately, and his hand shot out like a viper, gripping Vila's and holding on tightly. "Try that again, and I'll break your fingers."

It was safe to say that using violence to solve problems had not been trained out of him on the Barge.

Other than a brief testing tug, Vila didn't resist the grip. There wasn't much point getting into a wrestling contest over a sandwich. And he believed the kid. With that serious tone.

"It didn't look like you needed it," he offered.
