Day in the life!  Molly is still using a cane as she makes her way around the Barge, and she is CRANKY AS HELL about Murphy's arrival.  Feel free to note her scowls!

[It's breakfast time--the most important meal of the day! Molly is enjoying eggs, ham, toast and coffee. Come and join her!]

[Recognizing Molly as the other person Mozenrath insulted at the same time as teaching magic to, he came over, worried about the scowl and cane which he hadn't seen yet, bringing a tray of food with him.] Hey, you okay? What happened to your leg?

[She glances up at him and gives him a little smile. There are a lot of people she hasn't seen since she got back--she hadn't realized what a hermit she's become.]

Hey, Tony. [She shrugs a little and gives him a wry look.] I got shot. It's been slow to heal.

When did that happen? I didn't hear anything about that.

LATE MORNING

[Martha's said she can find a cure for Molly's injury, and Molly does believe her, but that's no reason not to keep up the physical therapy--especially when there's all this equipment around]

[Murphy is in the gym, making her bruises worse by pummeling a punching bag with every part of herself that can throw a blow. She's been at it long enough to soak herself in sweat and get into a rhythm, a kind of meditation on points of pain and contact.

Once upon a time this might have meant she didn't notice Molly when the girl came in. Now, though, with hyperawareness drilled into her like a spike, she snaps her focus to the new presence in a breath.]

...Going to have to get used to seeing you again.

[Molly pauses. She... really didn't want to have to deal with Murphy right now. She just wanted to do her exercises and be done. Damn it.]

...I guess you will. [She sets her cane aside and starts to stretch out.]

[Murphy takes the opportunity to re-wrap her hands and examine Molly from under half-closed lids.] How is it? Better here, with the doctors?

NOON

[Lunch! Everyone loves lunch! Mealtimes should have company! Have a seat... next to the grumpy-looking wizard.]

NOON - Normally I'd creeper with Sylar, but since he's leaving soon.. new CR for us!

[It would be a lie to say that Costigan wasn't constantly paying attention to his surroundings, but he was used to eating near people on the Barge and paid some people much more mind then others. His eyes were scanning around for David, Hoffman, or Sexby, to keep an eye on, as he took a seat across from Molly without really thinking about it. After no success in spotting who he was looking for, he dropped his gaze and then did a double-take and stared at Molly for a second.

Honestly, he forgot that the Barge carried around a bunch of teenagers, especially as wardens. It was bizarre. And now, without Dick as his warden, the thought crossed his mind that he might be paired with one of them. He frowned slightly as he dropped his eyes to his food, going back to not acknowledging the public around him like a true Bostonian.]

NOON--Probably for the best--Molly is not his biggest fan these days. So yay new CR!

[Molly's pretty observant these days, not that it takes much effort when someone sits across from you at a table. She watched him sit down--and then double-take he did before turning back to his food to ignore his surroundings.]

Hey--Costigan, right?

NOON--BUT HE LOVES YOU, MOLLY.

[Costigan lifted his gaze immediately at his name being called, but it took him another split second of staring to confirm that it had really been said and, in fact, by the girl across from him.]

"Yeah." [A beat.] "Who are you?"

EARLY AFTERNOON

[Time for a walk in the garden... and to check on Biff's lavender. Someone should take care of it, now that he's gone.]

[Seems like a good day for a new book. Molly's off to the library for some escapism. I mean--reading.]

Political policy, huh? Thinking about trying to sort out Barge politics?

[He looks up at her from leafing through a thick hardback volume on comparative political ideologies and makes a strangled digital noise that might be laughter. Then gives her a single, sharp nod.

There's no doubt that the Barge needed serious reforming, after all.]
