WHAT: What do previously genocidal robots do all day? Get queried for information? Prevent potential violence happening? Get hit on by people who don't know any better? It's like a choose-your-own-adventure thing, with the added bonus of disguised hydraulics!

A frown might have been given, had she been human.

She was not.

"Are there other instances you have an aversion to?"

"Some, but I don't think you've been personally present for any."

The anger had gone out of his expression. At least she was trying.

"What world are you from?"

"Earth."

There wasn't really a lot of available variation for that response. The T-X might be an advanced learning computer, but concepts like 'the one with the' escaped it.

All Earths looked the same to him anyway. Electrical machines, movie-plays, democracy, single god with a stupid name that didn't like anyone. Whatever; the point was that it wasn't normal.

"It shows."

"Yes. I appear human."

A pause.

"Please clarify."

"Not understanding embarrassment could be a tip-off."

[t_x_unit]

A second pause was taken as the machine re-evaluated the recent conversation. It tended to go for the most logical responses, but now it was reviewing alternatives.

"You used sarcasm," it decided.

And then:

"Don't do that."
