[Drake is flying down the halls, looking for someone with opposable thumbs to open the CES door for Arthas. He could easily get side tracked on the way, however.]

[Oh my lord, it is a bird. A bird.

Heero will just be innocently sitting here on the floor, swishing his tail back and forth. Not considering how delicious you'd taste. Nope. Not at all.]

A cat! ...a cat that looked to be about the same size as him, if not a bit smaller, he told himself, though he wasn't confident enough to land and test that theory. Instead, he chose to fly past, hoping the cat wouldn't be able to leap into the air and catch him, but if it tried, he'd bite.

[Fortunately for Drake, Heero's still human enough to know he probably shouldn't try eating the bird.

Still, taking a swipe at him... That wasn't that bad, right?]

Drake saw that paw motion, and gave a warning cry that to the cat would sound a bit like, "Stay down there!"

[There is a hawk here.

Harris's hawks are not normally known for taking birds, but this one is eying Drake thoughtfully as he passes.]

[Drake was wary about that look. He wasn't a small bird, he probably weight around eight hundred grams or so, close to the size of the other bird. He could probably take him, he decided, but he didn't really want to fight, so he let out a threatening shriek to warn the other bird off.]

[The hawk rouses his feathers in response to the shriek, turning unconcernedly to address the matter of his left wing.

Only once Drake has gone on will he drop from his current perch and follow the other bird, not letting that bright yellow crest out of sight.]

[Drake, satisfied that the hawk had lost interest after his rather impressive warning shriek, flew on, oblivious to the fact that he was being followed, and went down to the end of the hall before turning and flying down the stairs.]
