Once he has the charcoals to his preferred temperature, Luke will be spending most of his time around the grill cooking up enough food for everyone. He'll have the grill partitioned with hamburgers here, hot dogs there, and whatever other items need a good burning in other areas.

Gotta special order? Wanna try backseat cooking? Or just wanna hang around the grill and chat? Do it here.

Luke smiled when he saw Sexby appear in the CES. He'd been hoping that the guy would come out, knowing also that he'd been cooped up away from everybody for a good while.

When he made his joke, Luke gave a smirk. "Oh yeah, all donated by the kitchen. I'd make one hell of a mess if I ever tried being a butcher. I'm glad you were able to make it out though."

The Campground notiaraincluded July 3 2011, 15:18:25 UTC
The campground is a wide area of flat land with few trees, perfect for setting up tents. There are several, clearly visible natural trails which seem to snake out away from the main campground, one of which you can see leads down to the lake.

Want to get away from everyone for a little privacy? Want to go exploring? Or just wanna hang around the main campground? Here's your chance.

Dracula had a persistent desire: to hunt, or perhaps to seduce. In this place, fortunately, he had options other than humans for the hunt. Yet it seemed to him to be a bit of a waste to bring down a deer and not share the meat. Perhaps he could convince those manning the grill to baste down a haunch of venison?

He hesitated, watching the crowd from the fringes: people talking, the swimmers, the few wandering off into the dark to set up tents so far. Was this loneliness? Or something like it. His thirst, barely dented by his kitchen meal, tugged gently at him, putting an edge on the strange feeling.

ffff, this is a bit tl;dr. FUTURE TAGS WILL BE LESS WORDY! raisedinabox July 4 2011, 02:16:01 UTC
Jim was a little drunk. Or maybe a little more than drunk. It had been a very, very long time since he'd gotten this far down the road of being a little drunk. There'd been a short, messy, and embarrassing period during his teenage years when he'd struggled with impulse control. The sudden, radical shift from the life of a trapped child into the life of a free man had proven too intoxicating for him. He'd overindulged, just like his father had overindulged, and just like Bobbi overindulged, but determination and shame had righted his course before long ( ... )

That's ok! :) feels_no_love July 4 2011, 04:01:23 UTC
Dracula had been about to skin the beast with his claws when he sensed the human approaching. Unsteady footsteps, unfamiliar humanscent and thin lager. He set the deer down and turned slowly to greet his visitor.

"I am largely nocturnal," he said quietly, "And I did not know how welcome I would be in the general crowd." He inclined his head slightly in greeting.

"Worry not. In Romania inebriation is one of the top recreational pursuits. Besides...it was my desire not to...partake...myself that had me out looking for a meal of my own.

"We have not spoken at any length before, Mr....?"

The Lake notiaraincluded July 3 2011, 15:20:49 UTC
The shore of this lake is made up of small, smooth stones which are warm to the touch, though the water itself is surprisingly cold and almost perfectly clear.

Care to have a dip? Get into some aquatic hijinks? Enjoy!

Wanda showed up to work in red jeans over her Jolly Roger tankini. After setup was done, she was so hot and sweaty from carting stuff that she ran over to the edge of the lake, dropped the jeans and waded in, letting out a little shriek from the cold. "Ee! Holy crap!"

Even from where he was a good ways up from the water, he heard that shriek and couldn't help but laugh. "Cold enough for ya?"

Wanda waved, bouncing a little before forcing herself into a shallow dive into the icy water. She came up yelping and flailing. "I'll...live!"
