[Who:] Severus Snape and Sirius Black [COMPLETE.]
[What:] Their first face-to-face meeting
[When:] Early evening
[Where:] Main deck
[Warnings:] House rivalry and general doucheyness? Nothing yet.

Severus Snape was making his way to the deck long before Sirius finished penning his response. He knew the other man wouldn't back down from a perceived challenge - even one so innocuous as that which he'd been given today. He would come because he was reckless, and he would call it bravery.

Snape's wand wasn't drawn. The sorry fact of it all was that he had no intention of harming Black. He was weary of fighting old battles, true, but the reason was far more selfish than that: if he attacked an inmate, he would be demoted. He hated the other man - something he'd come to rediscover thanks to Martha's confession - but the desire to continue on as a warden outweighed any other feelings on the matter.

He waited well enough away from the rail, regardless. While he could keep himself under control, Black was unstable. He didn't particularly care to find himself being flung over the side by his enemy.
