FOOD TIMES (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner)stopthat_destroJune 25 2011, 20:55:17 UTC
[Rex is a super finicky eater. He doesn't like grossness, he doesn't like messy food, and he doesn't like to sit near other people. That's why he's typically prompt and makes a point to sit at the emptiest spot. But there are only so many seats in the dining hall, and they tend to get filled anyway. BAWW.]
[Shego's been coming here wayyy more than usual since the end of port - trying to burn off nervous energy while she works towards taking a kind of revenge on Jim that is, for her, unusually circumspect. The Barge has taught her there's no harm in taking the long road on occasion; all she's got is time, after all.
She's pulling on a pair of fingerless gloves as she walks in; when she sees Rex doing........whatever it is he's doing, she nods an acknowledgement.]
[Rex had been doing some reps with the free weights-- except now that he isn't alone, he doesn't exactly want to keep doing it. Mainly because he didn't want Shego to see how... the barbells he'd been lifting are probably half what she can lift. He quickly and oh, so casually sets them back on the rack. Yup. Just came in to do some cardio.]
[She flashes a smile back, but she's feeling kind of trollish today so she'll just go riiight over to where he's put the dumbbells down and read off the weights. She arches an eyebrow without comment, then glances back at him.]
FIRST FLOOR COMMON ROOMstopthat_destroJune 25 2011, 20:58:48 UTC
[And now it's late at night and he's sulking, curled up on the couch, watching some horror movie or another on the television. Sure, he's trying to move on from the Iago-Wichita fiasco, but for all the fake smiles he's been putting on lately, it's difficult. And he hates it. So much.
FIRST FLOOR COMMON ROOMinhumandogJune 25 2011, 21:42:12 UTC
[TOO BAD, REX. YOU DON'T GET TO SULK. Iago was drawn in by the sound of a scream and looked in the common room to make sure no one was getting stabbed. Seeing only Rex, Iago stepped inside the room fully and, without judging his mood first, sat down beside him.]
What is this? [Of course, he had seen movies before. He had been here long enough for that, but he was still a little wary of them.]
[Rex looked up when Iago entered, shifting slightly to make more room on the couch for him. He had a perfectly good sulk going, damn it, but now it was time to pretend he hadn't been upset at all. After everything that had happened, he didn't want to start another fight.]
Evil Dead. [Pause.] Two. The sequel. [Still fairly early into the movie, too. Ash was currently being terrorized by his possessed, undead girlfriend.]
Noted for its realism. [Said quite sarcastically.]
[Iago wrapped an arm around him casually, as he had seen others do before, and turned his attention to the screen. He didn't really understand the point of films, but he assumed it was just like reading...for people who didn't like to read.]
