[Prefect swayed unsteadily out into the corridor to where Barron was waiting, and with a manly heave, he put down the large pot of orange paint.]
All right, Comrade, that's all the paint. And now. We will perform a service, for the Barge. As a Warden and inmate. Collaborative project. Task. Thing

You're an amazing warden. [Barron said, deadpan. He was only half joking.] This is going to be great.
[Barron paused, examining the wall. He knew what it needed.] You know what sucks, Prefect? Culturally relativity. Yeah.
[Barron nodded to himself, taking a second before continuing. The ground swaying like that was really unfortunate.] Cultural relativity. That's the one. We need to paint stuff that everyone will know.

Yeah, I'm not buying that. There's a lot of crazy stuff here, but no one can control time. It just can't happen. [Barron started painting the man in the suit behind the shark guy. This was going to be an amazing wall when they were finished.]

[Prefect was ready to do Shego's black bits, but Barron was using the black paint, so Prefect decided to think of something else to paint that was green.]
[Like a nice bottled energy drink.]
Apparently it does happen though, Comrade. I don't know for certain, because I've never gone to my home again, but the Barge does almost everything else...

[Barron glanced over to what Prefect was painting. It appeared to be a green tube.]
Do you want to go home? [Barron was starting to draw the lines of the Admiral's suit.]

[Man, this energy drink looked delicious. Prefect was getting thirsty. He groped for the gin again.]
Um. Sometimes?
[Not the right answer, Prefect.]
No, Comrade, not really. Sometimes I think about home, and in my head, it's like this amazing place that I really want to go back too, and then I remember that... it wasn't. It wasn't amazing at all.

[Barron helpfully put the gin into Prefect's hand. He was looking a bit lost there.]
Yeah, I know the feeling. Home is still home, but sometimes it's kind of crap. To say the least. [Barron put down the black paint and picked up the red again. The Admiral needed a tie.]

[Prefect grumbled irritably, before accepting the gin and taking a long swig. He paused then, quietly digesting Barron's thoughts on home.]
Comrade... I know you said you wanted to be a fireman and all those other things, but... if you could have actually changed your life and done other things, what would you change?
[Prefect was bored of drawing the people of the Barge. He wanted to draw fun things, like Barron was. Starting with some planets and stars, flying overhead...]

I would change a lot of stuff. Big stuff, you know. [That was a lie. He'd change little stuff, little things that would change a lot. Like Cassel finding out about the plan. That would have changed everything.]
[Barron finished the Admiral, after giving him an amazing hat. Prefect had started on the backdrop, so Barron decided to take it on himself to draw the bottom of the scene. It might have gone onto the stairs themselves a bit. Just a bit.]

Well, Comrade, what kind of stuff would you change about your immediate life? Like, about your family and your home, and your school? Would you change the magic power you were born with?
Reply
Yeah, of course I would. [Barron said, rolling his eyes.] In case you haven't noticed, my power isn't exactly a fun factory.
