The quick, heavy footsteps could actually be heard from within Franklin's room, they coming even faster the closer they got to the door. Finally, once they were outside, the door swung open and Luke's massive frame took up the entire doorway as he stepped inside.

Unfortunately for Franklin, his Warden didn't appear to be quite himself. Not only was there a wild, almost frantic look in his eyes, but he was carrying chains in his fist. His eyes darted about the room before finding Mott standing nearby.

"There you are."

Franklin rolled his eyes, and was about to say something sarcastic in reply, when he noticed the chains. What. The Fuck.

Apprehension. It was not a feeling he was used to having, nor was it a fun one.

"Where else would I be?" He said, a little shakily, far from the smartass remark he'd intended. He forced his eyes away from the chains and their implications. "I find myself in a bit of trouble here. Mind helping out?"

He took a step away from the wall and turned a bit so Luke would see his bound hands.

Luke was actually a bit surprised to see the bonds...especially considering his intentions for coming here in the first place. He walked over and looked down. They just seemed like normal ropes.

"Why haven't you just broken free?"

Even if he's not strong enough to take him down, Luke knows the vampire's stronger than the average human. Freeing himself should have been simple.

"If I could've, don't you think I would've by now?" He asked, some edge to his voice. He was frustrated, and why hadn't Luke taken the bonds off yet? It seemed like a simple idea.

As evidence, the vampire moved his wrists as far apart as they could go. Which wasn't very far at all. The rope didn't budge even a pinch.
