Wandering by the church

[Pol isn't much of a churchgoer, but sh does take Davey down on some Sundays. This morning, it's just to show Davey around the church; she's holding onto her son's hand, walking him through whatever open doors there are.]

At the grocer

[Woman's got to eat, after all. Actually, woman's got to cook, usually for herself and her son and her brother, so Pol's alone as she looks through what the town grocer's got; after thee last time she'd brought Davey along an paid for a whole mess of broken eggs, it seemed like the better idea.]

Taking Davey to the stables to see Vegas/horses

[Vegas might not be the quickest man in town, but he was a good brother, and Pol liked having family around. It was good for Davey, too; he loved coming to the stables, to see the horses - and his uncle. Pol hated horses, if she was being wholly honest; they were big and they could be fidgety, and they made her uncomfortable as hell.]

[Vegas is brushing out Red Baron, a beautiful stallion who's been particularly rough lately. His owner hasn't wanted to come see him at all so it's been up to Vegas to take care of the horse.

He's stroking the creature's nose and stroking his flank, completely oblivious to the rest of the world.]

[Davey managed to slip away, an charges down the aisle until he spots Vegas in a stall. He's smart enough not to go running in, at least, and hovers nearby.] What kinda horse is he?

[Pol's only a few feet away, an has all kinds of words for Davey, but she cuts them short, reaching for his hand. She doesn't like the look of Red Baron. :|]

[Vegas looks up and catches his sister's gaze. He smiles for Davey however] He's friendly sometimes though. Right now however, he's hungry so...

[He moves past the two of them and goes to get a bag of grain which he lifts easily-pouring it into the horse's trough.]

[There are no parks for kids to go play in, so where else are they to go but the street? ALL THE PLACES EVER with her son. Pol's not letting him out of her sight out here. :|]

Sheriff's office

[Given Edelyn Wayne's post about being mugged, Pol feels awfully justify in stopping by the Sheriff's office to see just what the hell they're doing about it. She has a business to protect, after all, and girls to keep safe, and she wants to know the law is doing their part.]

DREAM IS V. SMART

[ Bruce's been trying to catch up with most of the work while Tim is busy helping Dick with catching Rogers. Besides, he has an investment in the matter - his wife was the first one robbed.

So he's looking through the evidence, pulling out several wanted posters and trying to figure out who of the new people- or the old people- who could've done the dastardly deed. ]

[And Bruce was the very first to catch her eye. Pol headed right for his desk, and if he didn't look up fast enough, she leaned forward, hands on his desk.] Deputy Wayne. I hope you're looking into this business with your wife?

[ He looks up at the voice. Pol- his lips briefly curve up into a smile, but it fades immediately at her question. ]
