What: A day in the teeny tiny life

Most children might think of hiding from adults, or stealing from the kitchen as games. Seamus basically thinks of such activities as essential survival skills.

[Seamus has just beaten a hasty retreat from the hissing scaly alien that had tried to trap him in the small, metal room he'd woken up in, and now he's running at breakneck speed through the corridor to get away. Woe betide anyone who thinks he's going to stop.]

[After the big Irish man made his post, Seamus considered approaching him for food, but there was far too high a chance that it was some kind of trick. Instead, he opted to wait for all apparent guards to be distracted, and make a break for the fridge himself.]

[Trip's plan is far less... well. Planned. He just wanted to come investigate between befriending/offending his future coworker and playing action figures with Jimmy.

When he notices the other kid, he wanders over to see if he can help on his quest to eat nothing healthy for as long as he's here. It's a noble quest.]

[The garden seems to provide better cover than any of the other locations available, so that's where Harper is! Hiding in the bushes, while he un-packs the food he's stolen onto his jacket, laid out on the dirt in front of him to keep his meal clean.

...Three raw steaks, a packet of cooked wafer thin ham, and three bottles of water.

He would have taken more if he could have carried it.]

[Tyr really isn't concerned with most of the others here. He's been glaring his way through the corridors all day. Scowling seemed to make most of his kidnappers go away. Or at least not talk to him. But when he got outside to the gardens, his frown lifted a bit and he headed through the plants, almost tripping on Harper in the bushes.]

What are you do- [He spotted the food and was instantly on alert.]

[Harper had just begun tearing into one of the steaks when Tyr alerted him to his presence. Quick as a flash, he was bundling the food up into his jacket and darting back a little way with it, giving himself space to run if needed. He stopped, and stared at Tyr warily, keeping the one steak that he'd begun working on clenched between his teeth as he did so.]

[If Seamus is going to escape from this place, then he's going to need plans, and technology, and weapons, and a better idea of where he is than he's currently got.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have any of those things.

What he does have... are lock picks, and many, many doors. So that's what he's doing right now, trying to break into someone's room, to enact the sacred laws of finders keepers on their stuff.]

[Tony heard the noises outside his door. It sounded like something was scratching at the lock, trying to get in. He tensed, frozen in place, glancing around for an exit. There wasn't one. Eventually he couldn't take it anymore.]

[Then, after a pause, he noticed something about the voice outside the room.]

[The Garden still seems like the place with the best cover, so Seamus has decided to begin fortifying himself a bunker there. Right now what this is is essentially just a hole that he's hiding in, and pulled his dirty jacket over the top of.

If you listen too closely to the rose bush, you might just hear gentle, kid sized snoring.]

[During his exploration, eventually Slim comes across the gardens. And he expects to find even more aliens, since this is a weird alien collecting ship. He follows the slight sound of snoring, and finds a little boy sleeping in what appeared to be very dirty clothes.

He watches him for a moment, wondering if he should disturb him. Finally he does clear his throat.] It might get cold here.
