MORNING | ANYWHERE notarrowette March 28 2011, 18:55:32 UTC
[Cissie's tired of exploring her room, and now that she's talked to several people, she knows her mother isn't on board and she's on her own. ...She doesn't know what to make of that, but she's going to go exploring for now! Time to practice being stealthy, especially in common rooms or places with people. And if she finds the laundry room, to climb on top of the machines to see how they work because they're not like the ones at home.]

[Hey, Cissie. Isaac has started out his morning in the laundry room. Yes, your inmate actually does his laundry. It just...doesn't look like it. He's aware of the flood by this point and may or may not be hiding out from all the children in there. Apparently it didn't work out as well as he'd hoped.:|

So, Cissie gets a wry, tired glance and no words. Isaac hasn't recognized her just yet.]

[It's a whole room of machines! This is so cool! Cissie doesn't really notice Isaac at first, because she's distracted by trying to figure out what these machines are and why there's a roomful of them. It's pretty obvious that they're washer and dryers, of course, but there are more of them than she's ever seen and they're bigger. She goes over to one and stands on her tip toes to try to see how they work; her mom doesn't let her do laundry. She streeeetches, standing up on one foot and trying to reach one of the buttons, but it's no use. She drops back to the ground with a huff and a frown.

And notices Isaac. Whoops. She looks very much like a little girl caught doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing.]

...Hi.

[He's watching the whole thing while pouring a load of paint-stained shirts into one of the machines. Of course, he's doing it so carelessly that he'll be lucky if nothing turns pink.

A little as he likes children, he offers up a very small smile before going back to his laundry.]

I'm not going to tell anyone.

LUNCH | DINING HALL notarrowette March 28 2011, 18:56:02 UTC
[Cissie is hungry and has found the dining hall. But she's completely bewildered by it all because she's never been to a cafeteria before. How does this place work? Take pity on the hungry, confused child.]

[Cissie was wondering if they would still give her food if she didn't have any money when O'Brien spoke to her. She looked up at him and nodded solemnly.]

Yes, thank you. [Manners are very important, you know.] I'm just kind of hungry.

MID-AFTERNOON | THE GYM notarrowette March 28 2011, 18:56:33 UTC
[Cissie's found the gym. There are mats! And archery equipment! She's SO EXCITED! She can't go to her classes, but she can practice her tumbling and gymnastics floor routine! And oh, maybe there's something she can use as a balance beam!

And if she's not doing that, she is totally checking out that archery equipment. Which is for grown-ups and way too big for her, but hey, maybe she can use it anyway. ...If she can pull the string at all. Someone take the arrows away from the child, please.]

Molly is watching Cissie with the arrows. They look... way too big for her and very dangerous. Papa has a Sword, and Molly knows she's not allowed to touch it, and she thinks that Cissie probably isn't allowed to touch sharp things either. She's not that much older than Molly.

"Are you allowed to touch those?" she asks doubtfully. "I don't think you're allowed to touch those."

Cissie frowns a little at the arrow and then back at Molly. "I'm allowed to at home," she says matter-of-factly. Which is true. Even if the arrows she deals with are a lot smaller. "I'm supposed to practice every day."

Molly frowns harder. "But... they're sharp. You could get hurt." That's why she's not allowed to touch Papa's Sword. That, and because it's God's Sword, too.

LATE AFTERNOON | THE LIBRARY notarrowette March 28 2011, 18:57:05 UTC
[Ooh, there's a library here! Cissie loves libraries! And she loves books, so she's going to grab a stack of books almost as big as her and sit herself on the floor in a corner and surround herself with BOOKS. YAY BOOKS. ...Who cares if she only reads at about a first grade reading level?]

[Well, they had to end up here eventually. One of those towers appear unstable and well, he was an engineer.]

Pfft, no ignoring! notarrowette March 29 2011, 00:45:37 UTC
[Cissie finished reading--flipping through and pretending to read, really--another of her books and looked up. She took in the other boy and the older man watching him and leaned toward Omega to whisper to him.] Do you know that man over there?

EVENING | THE DECK notarrowette March 28 2011, 18:57:43 UTC
[Cissie's finally made her way to the deck. She's a little homesick and bored, but right now she's fixated on all those stars. Eventually she'll make her way to the railing and climb up to lean over and look, because wow, this really is a ship in space! ...Please don't let her fall over the railing.]

[There's a little boy in spandex flying around and around, a white dog barking and running after him. He catches sight of the girl and flies over.]

Hey, you should be careful.
