[ It's less that Bruce hasn't slept as much as he's used to his nocturnal hours as Batman, and adjusting to a more 'normal' timing still takes a bit of effort. This time of the morning - before the sun rises, before the skies are even threatening to lighten up - is when his mind is at its most active and he can't sleep even if he's actually bothering to try.

When his mind is buzzing like that, he likes to something with his body, or his hands. That's why he's headed for the gym. It's also more convenient at this time, as he still doesn't want most people here to know exactly what he's capable of, and most of the ship is a ghost town.

But when he steps into the gym- he finds that he's wrong, this time. His eyes narrow immediately, but he steps in anyway, heading for one of the pull-up stands. Wilson already knows who he is, so he's less of a danger- and besides, given what he knows from Dick, Bruce figures that he might need a reminder. ]

Wilson. [ A sharp greeting. ]

[ ...Well, so much for the alone part of this exercise. Tilting his head just enough to acknowledge to the other, his gaze flickers briefly in Bruce's direction but no more. ]

Bruce.

[ Casual, in a sardonic kind of way. He isn't one of Gotham's "superstitious, cowardly lot" so he doesn't need to act like one. ]

[ Well, they can ignore each other, really. Bruce steps back slightly. He moves through his stretches easily enough, not even thinking about it. It's all muscle memory by now, and it's not long before he finishes- then he steps back to the stand. Jumps up and grabs the bar with one arm, and starts to pull himself up.

He considers if he should say it. Might as well. Wilson will be good as an ally. ]

Thank you. For the information.

[ They can, very well in fact, which is exactly what Slade resolves in his mind to do. Increasing the weight on the bar (it's already at three hundred) by another fifty pounds, he's about to keep going when Bruce makes that...comment. For a moment, he just stares, certain he heard it but questioning just the same. Or at least, until he realizes what Bruce isn't saying.

Quirking a brow, Slade sits back down on the bench, responding as he resumes the exercise. ]

Anything else you'd like to share with the class?

[ His way of saying: "You're welcome." ]
