Sylar showed up only a minute or two later than planned, glad he was next door and it would be easier to get there faster. He knocked gently at Elle's door, impatient for what he had been asking of her for months and what she had only just agreed to give him. The only part of this arrangement that bothered him as that he didn't know why she had changed her mind. Something had to have happened for her to decide it was time and he wanted to know what that was, to understand.
But, in the end, he was still a killer and he still found a bliss in the feeling of blood on his hands that he had yet to find elsewhere. If she wouldn't give him the reason, he would still kill her. He wanted it too much to walk away and she knew it. Because it was more than just her ability. It was about fate, about blood, and about the connection they would forever have.
When she heard the knock, she got up and opened the door a crack to make sure it was Sylar. She didn't want to deal with anybody else nosing in on this or interrupting it. Other people were a hassle she just wasn't up for.
She let the door swing wider, smirking up at Sylar as she leaned against the doorframe. "Hey you."
He moved past her into the room, ensuring that he actually brushed along her body briefly as he moved inside. It wasn't that he was still interested in having sex with her, not entirely, but it was just the game they played. Once inside her room, he turned to face her with a smirk. His confidence to the point of arrogance always returned naturally in circumstances such as this.
"I just have one question," he practically purred at her, watching to make sure she closed the door behind him.
Elle smiled to herself, her eyes drifting along the wall opposite her door as Sylar brushed past her. His almost-too-closeness, and the tone in his voice... She knew what he was doing, and she couldn't say she didn't enjoy it. She shut the door carefully and turned towards him.
