[The Doctor is doing something to his door. There's a small toolbox at his feet, and he's buzzing his sonic screwdriver at this thing, that is mounted in the middle of his door. He is mumbling and constantly talking to himself under his breath, something having to do with ringtone settings and finding something that won't make him incredibly annoyed.]

[10 AM - Outside his room, #14, level five]

[Creepin up on you with tiny feets, it's Chromie! My, you're a tall one ^o.o^]

[10 AM - Outside his room, #14, level five]

[He's startled, as he was so focused on his work, and plus, she was really quiet. Nine turns his head to the side and sees... Nothing. His eyebrows knit together, and then he looks down and sees her. Oh! He grins. The Doctor loves these sort of unexpected surprises.]

Hello! [He had stopped buzzing his screwdriver, but now he started again, moving it in little circles, hovering above the circular contraption. He focused back on his work, but continued to glance at her. There was something... Different about her, other than her appearance, that he couldn't quite place yet. He wanted to investigate.]

It's a doorbell of sorts. Except, psychic.

[10 AM - Outside his room, #14, level five]

[There was an odd shine to her eyes as she scanned him, seeming to be far more interested in analyzing the odd little being in front of her than the "psychic doorbell."]

Hm? How can that be?

[12 PM - The deck.]

[He is pacing the deck with his swaggery energetic walk, from one end to the other, looking very restless and concentrated in thought. Unless someone has been observing him for a while, it looks as though he is merely just taking a walk, and he hasn't been wearing a path in the deck for 20 minutes.]

[12 PM - The deck.]

[A door pushes open, and Arthas glances furtively around - he's not supposed to be up here - and oh damn, the Doctor. Well, no jumping today. Epic sigh.]

[The Doctor notices Arthas' arrival. It's a noisy door. For a moment, he pretends not to, but he hesitates slightly in his step. He debates the action to take here. Nine eventually decides on stopping his pacing and looking right at him with a neutral but friendly nod of recognition. He knows you're not allowed up here, Arthas. You know what's cool? Nine doesn't care.]

[12 PM - The deck.]

[He smiles, grimly.]

Hello- [War.

Oh yes, he knows them all by name still, all the thousands of Death Knights. He knows furthermore the boiling, poisonous degree to which each and every one must hate him.]

Doctor. That is what your friend the girl calls you, isn't it?

[1:30 PM - Lunch.]

[Seeming to be in an extremely good mood, Nine is smiling at everyone he sees, as he beelines happily to pick up two bananas, shoving one of them in his jacket pocket. Peeling open the second and taking a bite, he moves to lean against the wall and begins to discreetly observe everyone.]

[Omega comes in, preoccupied and worried. He only gets himself a few pieces of fruit, he reached for a banana, but looks up and sees the Doctor chomping down on one. Kiwi will do. They're fuzzy, dammit.

He slips what he's chosen in his pocket, grabs a yoghurt and spoon, before moving to leave.]

[He noticed Omega nearly choosing the banana, but changing his mind once Omega saw he was eating one. This amused him.]

Fuzzy and messy. Would've thought you'd pick something more efficient. [Nine says casually. He takes another bite, acting perfectly cheery.]

[Omega stops at his remark.] You don't really know me. [He likes fuzzy! Messy, he can deal with.] I lived in a time before we started processing everything. Cooking was an art and efficiency was well disguised.

[3 PM - Visiting Rose]

[He knocks on her door with casual enthusiasm, hoping she's in. He's doing an odd combination of singing and humming this song while waiting.]

[Rose actually intended to visit the Doctor after her visit with Rassilon the day before, but quickly realized that despite progress being made she felt...well, drained. Emotionally exhausted. And she didn't want him to think this job was going to start taking a heavy toll on her. So she'd waited, given herself time to rest (she didn't appear at dinner the night before), and had actually been making plans to see him when the knock came.

When she opens the door she visibly brightens.]

There you are!

[Have a hug, Doctor]

I was just about to come see you.

[3 PM - Visiting Rose]

[He beams back at her and hugs her tightly.]

Were you? Funny how that works out, then. Saved you the trip.

[Nine had a feeling what about, but he wasn't about to start asking the questions yet. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he smiled down at her, rolling on the balls of his feet. When he was happy or excited, he often had trouble staying still.]

[3 PM - Visiting Rose]

[This demeanor is catching. It's hard to think about being sad when the Doctor's happy.]

You're in a good mood, aintcha?

[She steps back.]

D'you want to come in?

[6 PM - Library]

[He's walking through the stacks, occasionally picking up a book, and skimming through it. To the casual observer, he seems to be having trouble deciding on something to read. To those who know better, aka Time Lords, they know he's reading all, or at least most of what he's picking up.]

[6 PM - Library] (Slowatus is over!)

[Nine turns his head quickly to view the newcomer, and gives him a quick lookover. Then he smiles casually.]

Not the whole library. Plenty of things I'd never make myself read.
